Ever since he fell under the spell of jazz while listening to his father’s record collection over 60 years ago, jazz has been much more than a music for Mark Montesano. It’s a passion that has inspired and sustained him throughout his life. Since the early days, he’s listened to hours and hours of it, witnessed many live performances of it; played it, read about it, hosted a radio show about it; and taught about it.
